CETEX Curing Compounds are wax and acrylic based compounds which can be diluted with water for usage. When properly applied on fresh concrete, they form a membrane which reduces the moisture loss during the early hardening period. It does not allow the inside moisture to come out of concrete, hence the process of curing occurs.
CETEX Curing Compounds help concrete to retain moisture thus results in improved hydration of the concrete. Hence this process of hydration produces a stronger, denser concrete in comparison to the uncured concrete. The curing compound is a temporary coating, which will wear off due to traffic, movement etc. It is white in color on application of curing compound on fresh concrete mostly through the spraying pipe.

CETEX FCD – Liquid Curing & Densifiers not only cures the green concrete but also hardens it. When FCD is applied, it penetrates and settles in the pores or reacts with the hydroxide and oxides to produce bigger molecules which reduce the porosity of the surface. This traps the moisture of wet concrete, which aids in curing of wet concrete and makes the top layer more compact and dense thereby increases hardness and abrasion resistance of the applied surface. WAX CURING COMPOUNDS (WCC)
CETEX-WCC (Wax Curing Compound), wax emulsion based, when applied to freshly placed concrete, quickly forms a wax membrane to maximize water retention in concrete. This results in better cement hydration and concrete strength. It is water based and direct to use.
